Slam-It.ch
This website is a social networking platform for youngsters and young adults realized using the TYPO3 CMS. Slam-It is the meeting place for anybody with interest in Swiss RAP, stories and poetry. The most important goal of Slam-It is to enable people to find, meet and communicate with users having similar interests. Site members can check out all the latest events from the world of RAP and poetry. A section named Schreibhilfen, which means Write Aid, provides to the write zone (Schreibzone) a user-friendly forum. Further, the live chat facility makes the communication options more complete.
Most of these features were achieved using existing TYPO3 extensions. But some custom requirements which could not be directly realized using exsiting TYPO3 extensions were achieved through some major customization. Some of the existing TYPO3 extensions that were customized are chc_forum, cwt_community, mm_forum, tt_news, etc. The important features of this project are:

Events Reporting | tt_news | Customized for the events reporting section, which will show information about the reports of the finished events. |
Play sound files | pmkmp3player | Used to play the sound files that are uploaded to the system. |
Rating section | tt_rating | Customized to provide rating section for the section in different kantons (districts). |
Gallery | ei_gallery | Customized to provide a user friendly gallery with commenting option for individual pictures. |
