Soundcity.ch
Soundcity is a music community platform in TYPO3. The client had the requirement of a website to provide music, videos, different community tools such as chat, buddy lists, messages, comments, user page, photo album, forum, etc. Other major modules in this project are online shopping, events, blogs, shows, news, messenger, etc. The major challenges we faced were that all the modules had to managed from the front-end and that no TYPO3 extensions were available to satisfy the requirements. We solved problems in managing the front-end by creating our own TYPO3 extensions for products, sales, music, video, events, message board, photo album, configuration, etc. Through some major customization in existing TYPO3 extensions such as photo blogs, tt_products, hoi_community, etc, the project’s requirements were successfully met.
