Expect Management is an interactive and professional website which serves to showcase the company profile and as an information platform for both employees and customers. The objective was to enhance the employee and customer service deliveries.

Challenges

Primary challenge of the project was the Complex Login with protected areas for two types of front end login users (Employees & Clients).The employees can see their details and project and add / modify them. The clients can search for projects/employees and view the employee portfolios. The backend process is for managing both employees and clients. The employees are basically models and the website needed a very good portfolio management and display with picture galleries etc.

Solution

Typo 3 was the preferred solution. Here no extension was readily available for backend/front end management of client and employee portfolios which was a different type of business idea than the ones we did earlier. We developed extension for the protected areas of login and the management option from backend. Integrated the complex design with Typo 3 and also provided a picture gallery as per client choice/design.

Client Feedback and Gains

The site is being widely used and the client satisfaction is good. They manage their employee portfolios through the site and can publish the upcoming events. We provide the enhancement and maintenance of the site.

On the technology front, PIT Solutions gained more experience in building TYPO3 extensions and in integrating complex designs with TYPO3. On the business front, based on the successful execution of this project, PIT Solutions secured a couple of projects more from the client including one from their consultancy wing. We also received good reference from them which helped in getting more business.
